One of my favorite designs. Blue Satellite is a film, television and music video production company with offices in Los Angeles and Chicago. They were looking for a sharp, sophisticated design without “Web 2.0″ cliches.

They wanted a monochromatic look, so I opted for contrasting textures–subtle shadows, varying transparencies and a brushed metal-like background–to create dimension and set off the site’s vivid video (not to be confused with Vivid Video). I also redesigned their logo to fit the new site better.
